We provide custom training sessions on childhood bereavement/loss for professionals working with young people. This also includes schools (fees negotiable). These sessions explore how grief affects children’s opportunities in life. They also discuss ways to support kids during distressing circumstances. We are affiliated with the Childhood Bereavement Network (CBN), which connects to the National Children’s Bureau.

We offer stress management sessions for students as part of improving their general health and wellbeing. This is because the symptoms can be very debilitating, impacting their academic achievements. We can deliver these sessions as part of school wellness days or events, alongside short complementary therapy sessions to help young people. These will be using alternative methods rather than talking therapies.

We also run stress management sessions. These are for professionals who work with children including teachers and support staff. These sessions help them understand the short- and long-term effects of stress on both body and mind. The courses aim to promote self-care, cut down on staff sickness, and boost productivity. Happier staff lead to a better workplace.

We also offer anger management courses for students. These sessions improve their ability to handle tough situations in their lives and schools. These sessions help young people to understand the causes and effects of anger. This provides them with strategies to enable self-regulation and better approaches to managing feelings.

We provide resilience training for students based on the Thrive Approach (based on the Penn Resilience Model introduced from Pennsylvania University by Martin Seligman). This improves children’s ability to ‘bounce back’ from adverse life events. The Thrive Approach helps them to understand their needs, which are being signalled by their behaviours. Whilst giving them targeted strategies and activities to being more mindful of their feelings.

We also offer mindfulness-based stress reduction sessions for staff and students. These sessions help calm the mind, manage stress symptoms, relieve pain, and teach techniques to handle stress’s effects.
